The sequel to a Squeakquel?
The new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie appears to be based on the premise that they are stranded, hence the name ‘Chip-Wrecked’ in the title. I do know the studio wants to milk this sucker for all it’s worth, so it’ll be in 3D.
Alvin and the Chipmunks are on a cruise vacation where the boys and the Chipettes are wag havoc. They become ‘chip-wrecked’ on a deserted island, and Dave searches for his friends while the lost Chipmunks get crazy on their new location.
